Hot Off the Press is hosted by two printers who found emotional support in each other over the internet. Moriah and Jillian are largely self-taught and have experienced, first hand, the struggle of learning the craft of letterpress on their own. While indulging in a virtual happy hour, discussing various trials and tribulations, they decided that other printers like them could really use a general resource for knowledge and support. Perhaps something of the modern era... and thus began the Hot Off the Press podcast!

Learn a little more about the two halves of this dynamic duo below!

Hailing from the east coast originally, Jillian is now living the dream in sunny Southern California. She is the (very) proud owner of an 1887 Challenge Gordon platen press, lovingly named Gordy.

Jillian's designs are super fun, with a romantic touch, and are sure to represent the personality they're inspired by. She specializes in wedding & event invitations, but has an amazing line of letterpress greeting cards for all occasions. Not to mention, a monthly subscription for those cards that's sure to bring some "Better Mail" to your mailbox.

Jillian of Studio Soprano

Moriah is based in Minnesota and can happily answer any questions you have about printing in cold climates.  She prints on an 8 x 12 Chandler & Price and also has a tabletop Kelsey press just for kicks.

Never afraid to play with color and obsessed with die cutting - you'll see both in almost all of her designs these days! Moriah has lots of experience designing & printing for wineries and restaurants, so she does a lot of 'job' printing in larger quantities as well as invitations & custom stationery.
